Family Voter Guide
Helping Families make informed decisions at the ballot box
Know Who You’re Really Voting For
As followers of Jesus Christ, we’re called to be informed, prayerful, and intentional citizens—especially when it comes to the decisions that shape our communities and culture. The San Antonio Family Association – Family Voter Guide is your trusted resource for navigating local elections with clarity and conviction.
This guide was created to help Christian voters in San Antonio and the surrounding areas understand where each candidate stands on key moral and social issues—such as abortion, artificial insemination (IVF), the sanctity of life, liberty including religious freedom, marriage, family, free markets, legitimate defense, euthanasia, the death penalty, education, and more. Whether you’re voting in city, county, statewide, or school board elections, this pro-life & family platform gives you the insight you need to cast your vote in alignment with the Christian faith.
We compile data from public records, voting histories, and direct candidate responses to help you filter through candidates based on what they truly support—not just what they say.
Our goal is simple: to equip you to vote with confidence, based on objective truth and Biblical discernment.

Why Vote (Listen Below):
Happy Easter!
On behalf of SAFA, this is Patrick Von Dohlen encouraging Catholics to exercise faithful citizenship and consider voting during this municipal election.
The Catechism of the Catholic Church paragraph 2240 proposes a responsibility for the common good that makes it morally obligatory to pay taxes and to exercise the right to vote.
Therefore, if a Catholic must pay taxes, one might want to vote for candidates who will avoid using those taxes on immoral ideas.
